Common uses and directions for diphenhydramine
Diphenhydramine is an effective antihistamine that reduces the time to fall a sleep and gives more depth to your sleep.
Diphenhydramine can also be prescribed for other uses, for instance in the treatment of certain forms of parkinsonism, motion sickness and certain allergic conjuntivities, ask Your doctor for more information.
Diphenhydramine HCI Indications
Soņodor is to take once in a while when having problems to fall a sleep, if you are nervous or are awakened several times during the night.
For motion sickness, diphenhydramine is taken 30 minutes before departure and, if needed, before meals and at bedtime. Take diphenhydramine exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Although side effects from diphenhydramine are not common, they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: dry mouth, nose and throat, drowsiness, upset stomach, chest congestion, headache.

Indications

Do NOT take
Soņodor is not to be taken by people with angina, heart arrhythmias, glaucoma, pregnant, breastfeeding, prostate and urinary problems, or while taking medications to prevent nausea or motion sickness.

To think about
Soņodor should only be taken before bedtime. It should not be used for a longer period of time than one week.
Children under 18 should not use Soņodor. If your sleeping disorder reduces the dosage should be reduced as well.
Take special care
Soņodor should not be combined with alcohol, tranquilizers or antidepressants for this can increase the effect. If you are under any medication please contact your doctor before using Soņodor.
Warning Pregnant-Breastfeeding
Soņodor is NOT to be taken if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Always contact your doctor before using Soņodor when breastfeeding.

Driving
This preparation is used to sleep and you should therefore avoid driving any vehicle under influence of Soņodor.
Use for children
No children under 12 years should take Soņodor
How to take
Oral. Swallow the tablet with some form of liquid.
Adults: The recommended dosage is 1 tablet/day 20-30 minutes before bedtime.
Overdose
In case of overdose or a massive partake of tablets call nearest hospital for detoxification, indicate type of pharmaceutical and quantity.
Possible side effects
Common: Dizziness, dry mouth/nose, or drowsy/sedated. Rare: Nausea/vomiting, headache, coordination problems, blurred vision, tightness of the chest, wheezing, abnormal heartbeat, nervous/restless, confusion, insomnia, flushing, seizures, hallucinations, problems urinating, nightmares, or skin rash.
