INDICATIONS:
NOOTROPIL has been used with varying effect in the following conditions and could influence them favourably, although no convincing proof of efficacy has been submitted.

1. Involutional syndromes related to ageing. 2. Chronic alcoholism.

In case of overdose:
There have been no reported cases of overdose. When in doubt, the patient is advised to discontinue treatment.

Side Effects:
On are occasions, the patient may overreact to this product. Lowering the dosage will be sufficient. Consult your doctor concerning any unpleasant side effect not described in this leaflet.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adults: the average dosage shall be as follows: 1 x 800 mg tablet three times daily. This initial dosage should be carried on for 3 to 8 weeks before the dosage is gradually reduced to half a tablet three times daily.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
There are no metabolites and no accumulation and the LD/50 is above 10 g/kg.
