Method of patent application
The method of application of Botoina combines for the first time the use of an applicator of syringe precision, a truncated-tip cannula for external application and a cosmetic preparation, that with the use of these instruments should be applied with precision to the grooves of the wrinkles.
The pack of Botoina comes with 3 applicators of syringe precision with truncated-tip cannula and a bottle of Botoina preparation.
Botoina comes in the form of a cosmetic serum shock treatment.
The application provides for a cycle of 20 days, applying 1 ml. of Botoina at night. The three syringes allow you to use one applicator per week of treatment. The preparation should be withdrawn from the bottle using the graduated scale of the syringe as a reference.
Method of use
Lift the tab of the bottle's lid-seal. Break the seal by pulling downwards. Take the rubber lid off. Insert the cannula of the applicator inside the bottle. Withdraw 1 ml. of the preparation using the graduated scale of the syringe as a reference.
Share the millilitre of preparation between the four application areas placing the applicator with precision to the grooves that form the wrinkles:
When you finish applying Botoina, wait 10 minutes and then massage the preparation in with the tips of your fingers until fully absorbed, spreading the preparation to the whole face. After applying Botoina at night do not apply any other preparation or cream to your skin.
Warnings: EXTERNAL USE. DO NOT INJECT. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. A slight tingling sensation may be an indication of the preparation's activity; it will disappear as the treatment advances. Botoina products undergo strict tests so as to guarantee optimal cutaneous compatibility.
On rare occasions discomfort to skin that is particularly sensitive may be experienced. In this case, it is recommended that you discontinue use of this product.

At-home use
BotoinaŽ is the commercial name of a complex of 4 molecules of cosmetic use, that when applied with precision to the grooves of the wrinkles, exerts a decontracting action (in vitro tests) which relaxes and smooths out expression lines. Its cutaneous application of at-home use is carried out with a graduated syringe and a truncated-tip cannula and has been submitted to 2 patents by the investigators of Labo.
The formula
Botoina is a worldwide first which is free of botulinic toxin. Each of its active ingredients, which make up the core of Botoina have a decontracting property, demonstrated by in vitro tests carried out on the four molecules.
The formula of Botoina, of which its components have been individually investigated, has also been tested in various groups of 45 women aged between 35 to 65 years. When applying Botoina Ataque for 20 days to the expression lines, more than 80% of the women experienced a visible decrease in expression lines.
Active ingredients that make up the Botoina complex:
1. Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester
2. Sodium-Potassium
3. Magnesium Gluconate
4. Pentapeptideamide-4.
The efficiency of these active ingredients is supported by a special "carrier" system elaborated by the investigators Labo: it deals with multilaminar liposomes that transmit the association of Sodium-Potassium, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester and Pentapeptideamide-4. This type of transmitter allows for the administration of the active ingredients at high concentrations to act exactly where they are meant to.
The multilaminar liposomes are vesicles with a diameter between 150 and 500 nm and they have a concentric construction with a double phospholipid membrane. They gradually release the contents as the concentration diminishes in the exterior phase.
The doses of the active ingredients vary depending on the units of Botoina introduced in the preparations: the concentration of 1000 contains 10 units of Botoina and is indicated for moderate wrinkles; the concentration of 3000 contains 30 units of Botoina and is indicated for deep wrinkles; the concentration of 5000 contains 50 units of Botoina and is indicated for very deep wrinkles.
Duration and cycles of treatment
Ataque ("Shock treatment"): treatment with Botoina is recommended in cycles of 20 days in the "shock treatment" phase (Botoina bottle and applicators of syringe precision), followed by 4 months of Botoina daily treatment (day cream, night cream and eye contour cream) to improve and strengthen the smoothing of wrinkles. The Day Cream is recommended even during the 20 days of Botoina Ataque application, as a daily treatment in the morning in order to improve the smoothing of the skin.

Daily treatment: thanks to the formula of Botoina in the Day Cream, Night Cream and Eye Contour Cream, treatment with Botoina is completed in the months following the three weeks of the "shock treatment". The three preparations are available in concentrations of 1000, 3000 and 5000.
