Uses of Zithromax
Zithromax is an antibiotic that is a derivative of erythromycin. There are many different uses of Zithromax, and it is most often used to treat bacterial infections, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). As one of the world’s most widely used antibiotics, Zithromax without prescription is in increasingly high demand, as is generic Zithromax.
First developed in Croatia by a pharmaceutical company called Pliva, Zithromax was first used to treat eye infections. Its usage has become far more varied since then and is available as the brand name product, or as generic Zithromax. The brand name version of Zithromax is actually the antibiotic, Azithromycin, and is marketed by Pfizer. It is known by several names, depending on the part of the world it is being purchased.
When used to treat bacterial infections, it is often employed in the fight against tonsillitis and other throat infections like laryngitis. It is also used to treat respiratory infections that include bronchitis and pneumonia, and is also effective when treating sinusitis and skin infections like cellulitis. Zithromax is also used to treat Typhoid and pelvic inflammatory disease.
Azithromycin is most effective against bacterial infections, but is generally not known to be successful in the treatment of infections caused by viruses, such as one might associate with the flu, or the common cold. However, it is often used to treat common or lesser widely known bacterial infections.
Zithromax works by preventing bacteria from multiplying in your body, thereby thwarting the infection’s ability to reproduce and develop. As the proliferation of the bacteria is frustrated, the infection cannot remain. It is often used to treat infections that where other antibiotics have proven to be ineffective, or when a resistance to antibiotics has been developed by the infecting bacteria.
In areas where bacterial infections are often rampant, such as the developing regions of Asia and Africa, Zithromax is used widely to fight infection. Hazardous bacteria are treacherous and life-threatening hazards i many areas and Zithromax has been shown to work well in even very complicated cases.
It is an antibiotic that is used to treat infections in both children and adults and is safe for use by anyone. Often used to treat ear infections in children, and young people who develop pneumonia, those using it generally show significant improvements when using azithromycin.
Adults who have contracted STDs are often prescribed this medication for usage to fight against venereal diseases such as gonorrhoea, Chlamydia and chancroid. Incredibly, this antibiotic is also used to prevent bacterial endocarditis, and is even used as an acne treatment.
Where other antibiotics are unable to treat certain conditions, Zithromax is often effective. It is definitely something that everyone wants to have in their medicine cabinet for regularly occurring infections, or to clear up less-common infections that can sometimes cause more serious health issues.
