Lindsey Lohan Is Sentenced To 90 Days In Prison
Hollywood starlet and occasional actress Lindsay Lohan was ordered on Tuesday to serve 90 days in jail for her repeated absence from alcohol abuse counseling sessions, in violation of the terms of her probation. It looks like alcohol dependency and prescription drug medication have done Lindsey Lohan in yet again. Maybe it’s time Lindsay took stock of the many alcoholism treatments available, and the many reasons to buy Antabuse to control cravings for alcohol.
To refresh your memory – or, if you’re one of the lucky ones who can ignore tabloids – Ms. Lohan was convicted of driving under the influence in 2007, and had been sentenced to probation and alcohol abuse counseling sessions. Her failure to comply with these terms has landed her a 90 day prison sentence. Lindsay Lohan is unlikely to serve a full 90 day sentence due to overcrowding in Los Angeles jails, as well as the general, cynical trend of celebrities having a system of justice all their own.
Lindsay Lohan’s alcoholism and drug problems have became public knowledge in 2007 when she checked herself into the Wonderland rehab clinic in Los Angeles. This latest incident is another in a long string of very visible substance abuse problems. The greatest shame of this is the influence that Lindsay Lohan has on other young people, due to her own reckless behavior and the media’s insatiable demands for salacious gossip and preference for juicy scandal over dignified pedagogy.
If you are an abuser of alcohol, or you care for someone who is, you know how hard it is to find a good role model. So many people abuse alcohol nowadays (5 drinks a night, 3 nights a week) that they almost seem to outnumber the teetotalers. An estimated 6.6 million children under 18 live in a household with atleast one alcoholic parent. An amazing 50,000 cases of alcohol poisoning are reported each year, taking the life of one person per week. Approximately 14 million Americans are addicted to alcohol so that they can not function normally without it! It is estimate that 3 million teens between 14 and 17 are alcoholics.
For Lindsey and other there is a way out of addiction. Part of it is getting counseling, part of it is actually attending counseling, but for some who are severely alcohol-dependent, there is a way out if they buy Antabuse without a prescription to take back their lives from this horrendous addiction. As for Lindsey Lohan she will probably after a few days are served, but will she ever fully recover-only if she wants to and fight her alcohol dependency and actually goes to her counseling.

Alcoholism destroys families. It is a scourge that is all too common in our society. But, quitting isn’t impossible. In fact, it is even more possible to overcome the addiction now than ever before, since you can
