Sleep Well, Work Well

Sleeping AidsAccording to U.S. government statistics, on average 16 workers are killed a day in accidents. Many  incidents are caused by workers who suffer from some sort of irregular sleeping pattern or chronic sleeping problem. It is important to realize that as an employee you are responsible for your personal well-being along with the safety of your coworkers. It is essential that you get the proper amount of sleep each night to function to your fullest capacities. Depending on the hours you work, not getting a good night of sleep and therefore not regenerating your Circadian rhythm (natural sleeping cycle) could cost you your job! A recent survey showed that 53% of night-shift workers fall asleep on the job at least once a week. That is a startling statistic! Getting a good night’s sleep may mean the difference between being  perceived as being a productive or an incompetent expendable worker by upper management. This is why it is important  to reflect on the possible causes for your sleeping condition: Are you staying up too late? Have you been binge drinking lately? If it is not something you can change that relates to habitual activity, perhaps it is time to get all of the benefits of  sleeping aids without a prescription.

Insomnia is characterized by consistent inability to initiate and maintain sleep, which causes the impairment of your normal daily activities. There are three different kinds of insomnia; Transient, which last a few days; Acute, which can last three weeks to six month; and Chronic insomnia, which can last years. People suffering from chronic insomnia see the world very slowly and experience most of it in double vision. It is a condition that effects their ability to function as normal people in society.

There are many reasons why one  might suffer from insomnia: It can be physical, psychological, perhaps caused by an unstable or emotional time in a personal  life. One Japanese study found insomnia to be related to low levels of melatonin. Another study found that stress raised cortisol levels which in turn decreased the amount of REM sleep. Other reasons may include: the use of Psychoactive drugs, pain, use of antibiotics, hormonal change (menopause), depression, hyperthyroidism and restless leg syndrome (the constant shifting of legs while one sleeps).

What kind of sleeping aids without a prescription work? Well, one of the most effective over-the-counter sedatives you can buy Dormidina (Doxylamine succinate 25mg). It is a member of the ethanolamine  group of antihistamines. It can be easily bought through an online pharmacy without a prescription. Its dosage is usually 25 mg, although in Australia they sell it in doses of up to 50mg. Side effects include: dry mouth , drowsiness and lack of coordination.

It is important that you take control of your sleeping habits before they effect your overall work performance. Sleeping well might mean the difference between being promoted or fired. A good night of sleep is priceless since, when you are alert, and awake, there is nothing, no problem solving issue, no situation, that you can not resolve. If you find that changing your lifestyle habits such as, sleeping at an earlier time, staying away from alcohol or changing your diet are not working then maybe it is time to consider using sleeping aids like Dormidina (Restavit) or Sonodor (Diphenhydramine) to get that good night’s sleep.

Which Antidepressant Is Right For You?

Buy Antidepressants OnlineMany people will find a non-prescription way of dealing with depression, but for some, their only hope from despair is the vast array of antidepressants on the market. But do you know the difference between generic Prozac and Trazadone? Should you buy Lithium or Celexa?

Well, there have been many breakthroughs in modern day medication that help to fight depression successfully. But still people ought to know how different groups of antidepressants work, because then they can be involved in selecting the appropriate medication to take. Breaking down the various differences and similarities between medications will help.

One important piece of information that should be taken into consideration before buying antidepressants online is the difference between the groups of antidepressant medication:

Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) are one of the most powerful antidepressant groups. They are a compound given to people with atypical depression, meaning they are for people who can be in a good mood sometimes, however, swing back and forth like a pendulum between states of euphoria and despair. MAOIs prevent Monomine Oxidase transmitter breakdowns, therefore increasing their content in the brain. MAOIs breakdown into two iso sub-groups: MAOAs, which break down the amino acids in serotonin, melatonin, epinephrine and nor-epinephrine. MAOBs, on the other hand, go after phenylethylamine and trace amines. It is important that people on this type medication avoid foods containing Tyranine (cheese, wine) because this can result in  Hyperserotonemia, a potentially fatal reaction caused by excessive serotonin production. Common medications from this group are Benmoxin (Nerusil, Neralex), Iproniazid (Marsilid, Iprozid, Ipronid, Rivivol, Propilniazida).

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are the most commonly prescribed antidepressants; they are used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and even premature ejaculation. This group increases the level of neurotransmitter serotonin that in turn, increases serotonin that binds with postsynaptic receptors. They include a wide variety of popular medications: Celexa (Citalopram), Prozac (fluoxetine), Zoloft (sertraline), Paxil (paroxetine).

Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) are the group of antidepressants that treat acute depression and mood swing disorders; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorder, neropathic pain, attention deficit disorder (ADHD), fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). Some of the medications in this group you might be familiar with are Venlafaxine (Effexor), Duloxetine (Cymbalta). This group inhibits the uptake of neurotransmitters, increases serotonin levels and norepinephrine and  thus increases the level of neurotransmitters.

SNRIs are quickly becoming he most commonly used form of antidepressants in the world since they show a higher antidepressant efficacy than SSRIs.

Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (NRIs) stop norepinephrine and dopamine, therefore it has very little effect on serotonin levels. This group is used for its ability to act as a stimulant in the brain This group of medication is used to treat chronic fatigue, narcolepsy, ADHD and even smoking cessation.

Norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitors (NDRIs) block the action of norepinephrine transporters and dopamine transporters that increase extracellular concentrations of more epinephrine and dopamine and therefore causes an increase in their neurotransmitters.

Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCAs) are the oldest form of antidepressants originating  in the 1950s . Most of the medications from this group have been replaced by either SSRIs or SNRIs.

There are also other types of medication:

Lithium (Eskalith) is an antipsychotic, anti-manic carbonate medication used to control Bipolar disorder. It alters sodium transport in nerve and muscle cells. It is a very effective drug in the treatment of most bipolar states. In terms of its side effects, people with cardiovascular problems should avoid lithium.

Trazodone (Desyrel), which is in its own group, acts more like a SSRI but has a more sedative quality to it.

There you have it! The many different  classifications for  antidepressant medications that  have the ability to break your depression and improve your state of  mind. Keep in mind, however, that it is important that you do your own research before you take any medication or before you buy Lithium or generic Prozac without a prescription.

Propecia And Proscar, How Do They Work?

Propecia Reverses Hair LossThere has been a lot of talk about buying Propecia and Proscar without prescription to solve various problems relating to male pattern baldness (Androgenic Alopecia). Studies continue to show that  these drugs may give complete protection from hair loss, even for men who damage their own hair due to psychological disorders, like pulling one’s hair (Trichotillomania). But what are the real benefits of long-term use, if any? Can one real take control of their changing hairline? People also seem to be confused about  how exactly Propecia and generic Proscar work, but this can be easily cleared up.

The first thing that men ought to know about taking generic Proscar or buying Propecia without prescription is that the active ingredient in both drugs is Finasterides. That drug  original use was in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplagia and prostate cancer and this was the original intention of pharmacologists when Propecia was put on the market in 1992.

Both drugs act as an antiandrogen, which work to prevent enzymes that convert testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. The process of this conversion may otherwise lead to a variety of health problems in men, especially hair recession and problems in the prostrate. A May 2008 study concludes that Finasteride reduces the rate of cancer in the prostrate by up to 30%.  A remarkable feat!  But that  is not the only benefit for this new drug.

In addition to the overall benefit to male health, it turns out that the medication has the ability to inhibit  enzymes that cause  male pattern baldness and result in a reversal of hair loss. In 1997, the FDA approved the drug for androgenic alopecia. By inhibiting the conversion to DHT (dihydotetsosterone), which  is  shown to destroy the hair follicles that cause male pattern baldness, this medication opens up the possibility of returning hair to a once balding scalp.

One major difference between Proscar and Propecia is in the encapsulated amount of Finasteride: Generic Proscar contains 5 mg while Propecia contains only 1 mg. A 2005 prostrate cancer prevention trial shows that men who take 5mg a day were 25% are less likely to develop prostrate cancer than men on the placebo; However, the increase in milligrams has little to no effect on improving hair volume.

In terms of rare cases of alopecia in women, Finasteride is  not recommended. In general, women should stay away from the drug, since it may cause birth defects in the genitalia of unborn male children: It is therefore  unadvisable that women handle the drug in any manner.

A  five year study recently conducted for Propecia shows that many of the benefits associated with the drug are hard to dispute: Of the subjects that take the medication, 48% of men show an increase in hair growth, while 42 % show a complete stop in hair loss. As the results confirm, there is a great potential in these medications to prevent hair loss,  improve hair quality and improve hair volume, with the help of either Propecia or Proscar.  Thanks to medical advancements in the last twenty years, men can finally take control of their receding hair line and reverse balding.

The Benefits of Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs

Anti-Inflammatory DrugsThe most frequently prescribed medications in the world are non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. As amazing as that may sound, think about how many times you or someone you know has experienced lower back pain. It can happen to anyone at any time, and millions and millions of people are reaping the benefits of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs every single year.

Often abbreviated to NSAID, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are non-narcotic and can sometimes be purchased over the counter. They are available in tablet or pill form, but are most commonly used by intramuscular, intra-articular and intrabursal injection.

A kenalog injection is often administered in an effort to reduce inflammation, and is also used to reduce symptoms of hay fever and asthma. When attempting to treat a particular inflammation of a joint, it can be used with an intra-articular injection to access the affected area quickly and easily. It will reduce inflammation and allow great mobility in the affected joint.

The benefits of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs extend far past just one use. For example, some people buy Triamcinolone to treat eczema, psoriasis, allergies, lupus, and yes, inflammation caused as a result of arthritis. This product can be taken orally, by injection and even as an ointment or cream. Inhalation versions are also available.

While the benefits of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are many, they should be taken with care as prolonged usage of them may result tin gastric erosions that can in turn cause stomach ulcers. As with all drugs, they should be taken with care and with the understanding that there may be side effects if not used properly. However, when administered with care and attention, they can help with a wide variety of symptoms and alleviate a lot of unwanted and unnecessary pain.
